Samsung S8000 to Run Android, Play DivX, Take Over the World

More details have emerged on the first Samsung handset to run Android. A yet-to-be announced phone called the S8000 is being reported (translated) as the South Korean handset maker’s first entry. Look through the specs and you’ll see that this is not your typical Android phone.

Samsung Android phone spotted

An extremely pixelated picture of the first Samsung Android smartphone has been released, as part of a Samsung dealer presentation in Amsterdam today.  Details of the device are incomplete, but it’s known to use a large capacitive touchscreen and a 528MHz processor of unknown manufacture.
